In order to carry out Zero-Option's high temperature treatments such as mineralisation and vitrification without the negative effects of raised emissions to air, we have developed a patented flue gas scrubbing system.

In a series of wet scrubbing stages, chemical treatments are used to remove pollutants such as acidic gasses, particulates, sulphur dioxide and nitrous oxide down to ultra-low levels.

Complemented by electrostatic and impingement filters, Edelchemie's flue gas cleaning system can achieve unrivalled performance.

Moreover, scrubbing liquors and sludges are returned to our own mineralisation and vitrification processes and completely treated.
