	Duty of Care
			HEALTH AND SAFETY CERTIFICATION Attention to Health & Safety is paramount when operating a waste management facility in order to protect the Environment, staff and the public. To monitor performance Edelchemie employs trained H&S managers who are assisted by external consultants.

			TECHNICAL COMPETENCE The Technical Competence for the handling and treatment operations at the Market Harborough facility is principally held by the Managing Director and other management staff, who hold a level 4 Certificate of Technical Competence, Treatment of Hazardous Waste, also known as a WAMITAB certificate.

			DANGEROUS GOODS SAFETY ADVISOR A Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor is required by EU law at all companies handling hazardous goods, including those that load, unload, forklift, transport, store or handle hazardous waste products in any way.

			CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE Edelchemie clients receive a Certificate of Compliance, certifying that their waste has been dealt with by a fully registered and licensed waste management company.
